northeast of the city of Tehuacán and where populations are:

Climate
semi-warm dry climate with summer rains and low throughout the year. We
present the first foothills of
the Sierra de Zapotitlán west.
Flora
The rest of the municipality, in the higher areas of the Sierra de Zongolica, must have been covered with pine and oak forests, forest associations they have begun to be destroyed to open new farmland.
There are deer,
rabbits, hares, squirrels, armadillos, raccoons, opossums fox, and coyote,
water snakes, rattlesnakes, coral snake, and mazacuata lever. Besides different
kinds of birds like hawks, Tehuacanera dove, sparrow, swallow, Garza and owl.
